I Love You !

You were there
when I had come to this city
not knowing where I
wanted to be,
just to be by my side
and helping me with my
pell-mell desires.

You were there
when I liked that guy
from first year,
remember ?
And when he
dumped me knowing
his taste was not
going to dwell in me.

You were there
when I was almost
about to drop dead from
the seventh floor
and I needed someone
to hold me back
just to live a bit more.

You were there
when I had no one else
and had the chance
to know you,
not maybe completely,
but as much as was necessary
to make myself fall for you.

Now, you are here
when I have dreams
just about you listening to me
and I get up and I scream
because that is what
you have been able to give me,
pain, in the deepest form
when you could also
have loved me.

I would love your thoughts on how you felt while reading it.
I know for myself, that your kind words would inspire me to write more, and bring more such stories that you enjoy reading.
But, I also know that I would love it even more when I get a note which finds flaws, because I would take it as a challenge to improve in the next story that I write.

My Best Friend...

It's been 5 years, 2 months and 13 days. I don't remember his face now, but I remember every word he said to me that night. He kept repeating the same thing over and over again. I didn't do anything. I am helpless, need medical help, psychological help, I should say. Someone who can help me forget that dreadful night, that somehow I'm able to live with this, live with the trauma of that night, live with it replaying in my mind, in my sleep over and over again, and everyday, I just wish it could just tone down a little maybe. Honesty Is The Best Policy ?

While I was in school we used to have quizzes in class when there used to be just a few kids who had come to school. That day we had only about fifteen or twenty students in the class. Our teacher had been tired herself, so, she decided to take a quiz that day. You know, quizzes are actually fun way to recollect what you have learnt and display your knowledge just so that you win the game. So, the teacher divided us into groups, as per the rows such that row 1 became group 1, row 2 became group 2 and so on. I was in the first row I guess and used to get very excited in these quizzes. Since such quizzes lead to shouting and carcass in the classroom, so our teacher had set a "-1" point for the row which was heard shouting. And so, the game began!
