The Circle of Love

You met a new person 

you're not able to forget,

every little detail about their first look

makes you regret.

Is this the circle of life ?

Is this the circle of love ?

You get nervous and excited 

and fail miserably to understand them,

because they are not at the same page

as you are, to them.

All you can think of is,

what would have happened

if you hadn't met them ?

Is this the circle of life ?

Is this the circle of love ?

Now you've stopped expressing

any drop of emotion,

but they suddenly decide to

come to you and say,

"I love you!"

You have surprise, and shock

and too many emotions,

but all you can come up with

is to say, "Thank you!"

Is this the circle of life ?

Is this the circle of Love ?

You both know

this is not going further.

You both know 

this will not work out.

But, none of you is ready to call it off,

because you both know, happy with it,

is not how you come out.

Is this the circle of life ?

Is this the circle of love ?

Still one person decides,

makes it difficult for the other 

to remain in the relationship

where both prosper.

So, with time,

the other bends, and finally breaks

this whole thing altogether.

Is this the circle of life ?

Is this the circle of love ?

Now both are hurting,

maybe one more than the other,

but both show they are happy

so as to avoid any bother.

This is a tough time,

everyone around feels something is wrong.

But all you can do is,

go through it all alone.

Maybe not the circle of life,

but, this is the Circle of Love!
